bergen–filmmakers held a hangout. Different city, different room, smaller, but the same energy. Watching people finding each other on the west coast told us something. The format can travel.

19th June 2026.

Almost one year since this hangout adventure began. Nerves were calmer. Things are starting to get into a routine at this point. The same faces are showing up. New faces are continuously being added to the community. We originate from Oslo, so the hangouts in Oslo feel close to our hearts. And honestly, it is not just an idea anymore. 

We invited people to a new venue, but this time we had a more defined thought than last time about what we actually are.

It felt great. Not gonna lie.

This time, in Oslo. We took over the MIR bar. They even made us a sign.

And since the last hangout in Oslo, we can now actually look at the “format” the hangouts are, and we can easily say that this is a big chemistry test. People have said that it feels “non-Norwegian”, since our goal is this: to be good at networking, you need to be shameless about going into a room and saying, “Hello, my name is…” to a stranger.

Our socials is designed to actually do that. 

We want you to take the room, and everyone inside is open to it.

You don’t need to get 10 new people in the room acquainted with you. Focus on two people, and then the next time take two more. Grow horizontally. Find the peers you can grow with and be eager to collaborate with.
