A new format. First season: Norway.
A curated series spotlighting short films under five minutes and the filmmakers behind them

Five Under Five is a curated series spotlighting short films under five minutes and the filmmakers behind them. Each edition features five films, and every filmmaker gets a portrait, their film, and five short questions about how it came together.
It's a fast way to discover new work and meet the people making it. No long write-ups, no festival gatekeeping. Just good short films and honest answers about the process.
For the first season, we're focusing on Norway.
What we're looking for
Short films under five minutes, made in Norway.
Any genre, any style. Fiction, documentary, experimental, animation. If it's under five minutes and it's yours, we want to see it.
What you'll be asked
Every selected filmmaker answers the same five questions:
What sparked the idea for this film?
What did you want to explore visually or creatively?
What surprised you the most during the process?
What’s the biggest lesson you’re taking from this film?
What would you be curious to explore further from this project?
What we need from you
Your film
A short note on the film, if you'd like to add one

Deadline: 15.08.26
We'll select five films for the first edition and feature each one across the site and our channels. If this season goes the way we think it will, Five Under Five travels. Norway first, then onward.
